Lost in the Deep Blue Ocean of Your Eyes - Outfit Set

Deep navy blue is one of my fave colors so I was so psyched when I found this Alberta Feretti dress. Even better? Its got three different angles: back, front on a mannequin, and the front.

The back of it shows that its not just a plain blue dress, its intricate and different. A cute belt makes it even more stylish. Pair with statement heels and a adorable clutch and even a pretty bow necklace to finish this look LOOK AT ME! look.

Like the rocker chick, grungy look? But you don't wanna do the rips, tears, dirt and bare skin?

Good news! you don't have to! 

Sunshinez's Grunge Chic MUST HAVES:

pair of jeans - best in grey, black, or light wash - can be ripped or torn or just normal which works best for a cleaner look)

Jacket - best in darker colors or plaid - don't button it all the way up!

tank top - in a solid color ie. white, black, grey - long, but not over your butt

heels / boots / - in black or grey (or other colors depending on other coloring you use) - best in leather or pleather

bag - a ton of bags work! but leather, black, grey and plaid work best

belt - hardcore and leather.... or just black.... looks awesome with a chic bow or buckle

nail polish - black goes great, reds a good pop and a french manicure looks professional.

mascara - blackest black... sparkles are glam too

necklace - really dramatic and chunky rocks

 

ring/s: big, chunky, dramatic.... just one or one on each finger

bangles - not needed... but extra bling can look great on some grunge looks

YOU CAN ALSO ADD: a scarf, eyeliner, eyeshadow

One Little Black Dress - a Thousand Styles

Ther are tons of outfits that can be mixed and match to fit your style. But in my opinion, the little black dress is one of the best! A really awesome example of a LBD in two different looks.

YEAH! its the same dress!

On the first model, the LBD is girly with a huge bow, and elegant heels. 

The second model is more chic, not so girly with a fedora and tough cut out top heels.

You can switch the look with just a few accessories, I've only used two, but you can define your own personal style with your accessories. Make it yours!

 got a Dance coming up.... if not, your going to want to plan one after taking a look at this blazing teal and metallic strapless dress. A happy medium between cute and show stopping glamourous.

Bows n' ribbon are plain cute and girly and can be glam when used carefully, and not too many. 

Gold is pretty much always glamourous... and metallic is even better. Pair with a cute clutch and dramatic earring... and you are going to shine... whether its in your living room... or the Academy Awards!

Going for a jog, or some other sweaty workout that could be linked to saggy, baggy, unflattering gear? Sweat and hard work doesn't equal any of that.... nope! It equals professional, comfortable, easy to work and stylish gear! Nike has a great selection of runners, pants, sweater and tees... not to mention cute bags to hold all your workout stuff in!

I've put together a really chill outfit for your next sweat session! Don't forget a water bottle... DON't buy a plastic one like i have in the set (I just like the color effect) get a reusable one and keep our Earth bright!

Sunshinez Outfits: Icy glam grunge... how an outfit is put together!

You don't have to have tons of accessories or pieces to make a fab outfit.... its simple pieces with a really bold or noticeable piece. In this outfit (above) I have a couple look - at - me pieces. There's the shiny grey jeans, zipper heels and grunge black bag. There are 2 simpler pieces: the blue longs sleeve tee and the cute black heart necklace. They help make the outfit work perfectly.  This outfit is not very girly... its a killer grunge glam look.... a lot of themes going on here! I've created a winter color palette... navy blue, icy grey, and coal black. All the colors are in the same group... for example if I added red to the outfit, it would look out of place. 

Super stylish and really easy.

Now you can pull off this look... not so girly, glam, grunge!

Can fashion be a masterpiece? I say Yes!

This outfit is for bold artists... or just anyone who loves bright colors and major style!

I Started off with a extremely colorful long tank with cute ruffles...  plus a some major shimmer. Usually I would pair this tank with some darker jeans... this time I tried some black liquid leggings, they deff add another style element thats unexpected... giving a sheer glam look to the tank. I added some grape colored flats with adorable little bows, a solid blue bangle,

a very bright pink bag (with a really cute pattern) with a totally artsy bright beanie! Finish it off with bright colored make up and blackest- black mascara. 

What I could have also added: (although i didn't add because I totally love the way I made it)

dramatic earrings - in bright colors

neon nail polish

other bright bangles

Sunshinez Outfits: Sequin Diva

This is one of my favorite sets that I've made... why you ask?

The dress is amazing... and is incredible with the accessories! 

As you may have noticed this is not a dress that you could get at your local mall... and is very expensive but gushing over it is almost as great!

This dress is definitely hard core diva... no sweet princess here.

The heels are elegant and deff fit in with the sequins. The Sparkly clutch is totally diva... black earrings balance the colors well. Finish it off with mascara and eyeshadow... you don't need really any jewelry this is glam enough... although a thick black bangle would work also.

Sunshinez Outfits: Can grunge.. be girly?

Can you have the "grunge" look, but still be fashionable and girly.... I say yes!

This set - "Famous last words - Grunge can be girly" shows how with the right pieces, you can pull the look off, fairly easily! 

So started the whole set with this amazingly cute "Famous last words" dusty pink tee, its pink (which is girlys main color) and its got the total grunge - punk text! To go along, the grey skinnies work awesome, grungy... but totally chic! And of course no outfit is truly awesome without... shoes! So I've picked some completely girly heels! The gray color compliments the grunge theme... while still being fashionable. To tote everything around? a beat up looking bag... total grunge! A big ring... and yes in grey is bling - but not too much! Finish it all up? a lil bit of makeup... dusty in pink... and a bit of grey. 

My famous last words? Fashion is a masterpiece!

Sunshinez Outfits: Black and White made sweet!

Do you think black and white... is well... dull? Well you obviously haven't seen this!

So to build this B&W masterpiece, I started with a  oh so cute white heart tee... paired with a black skirt. I added pair of killer black heels and a solid shimmery black clutch also. 

For some jewelry... the black and silver bracelets are tough but sweet. The heart dove necklace is major bling... but very chic. To go with the hearts theme, B&W heart earrings are adorable and mix in so well. And with this set, you can have a lot of bling... so a black cocktail ring looks  spectacular! To finish it off... a quick swipe of powder on that fab brush finishes everything off.

So there you have it... a cute, trendy, black and white look, thats so far from dull!

Sunshinez Outfits: Blazing Hot Pink and Black

Love being on fire - blazing hot without wearing red or orange? Then you should deff try a hot pink & black combo. Its hot, with a statement! This set is edgy and sweet, the flats are really cute and still work with everything else esp the skinny jeans. The pink fedora and fingerless gloves are really edgy and totally work with the "wild at heart" tee, which is sweet and wild. Bangles add a bit of bling and cute. The smiley bag is a whole other style, but I added it cause i think it complements the rest of the set. You could use either hot pink nail polish, black, or both. Simple earrings and makeup work really well because the outfit is enough of  a statement already so you don't want to overdo it, mascara and eyeliner would be just about right.

Sunshinez's Outfits: Beige Trenchcoat

What's better than strolling along in the city,  window shopping (well, you usually do buy something anyways) Almost nothing :) 

So I created the perfect outfit - not just for window shopping, but based on roaming the city.

So starting out with the core of the outfit: the beige trench coat. This trench coat may look plain, but no way! The bottom has a bubble skirt, the buttons are nice and bold and its finished of with a bow sash! Its says I ready for business, but I'm going to look really good at it!

Now usually I would want to pair this with some boots, but I think the Jimmy Choos make the chic bar flying... they are Jimmy Choo Studded Gladiator Sandals. They are fierce, but mix with the trench coat, in color and style.  Now to carry you money (to buy everything with!) your makeup... etc... your gonna need something trendy and versatile... So I chose a black Chloe shoulder bag... so stylish... complements the outfit and is easy to carry around. 

So after all that... your walking down the city streets... and it get really bright out... time to pull out your shades... in this case your mega chic aviators! These complement your outfit and save your baby blues from those harsh rays. But wait... you need some bling! The leather charm bracelet is fun and works in with your style... a fun lil add on! So now you have the perfect city strollin outfit... time to finish it off with some makeup... I'd say go natural... swipe on some black mascara and  a bit of matte eyeshadow... or whatever you like to finish off the perfect outfit!
